Lancer APERLAN destroys all known bugs but not your scopes. Based on 'Active Oxygen' it is a blend of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid. Aperlan is automatically dosed into the Fibro-Cleaner and requires no mixing, activating, decanting or pouring; it was designed for minimal exposure to the user.

It has been tested for its high-level disinfection capabilities as well as its sporicidal activity against Bacillus Subtilis. Used at its lowest 'in-use' strength, 1100ppm or 0.11% concentration, produced a total kill in less than 10 minutes. Aperlan may be used as oneshot' system or a one-day (30 cycles) system and uniquely for a peracetic acid, has test strips available. Used at the recommended concentrations Aperlan is guaranteed not to damage your scopes. Available in 5 litre bottles.

The scope connector on the left has been used in the Fibro- Cleaner with Aperlan disinfectant and is free from contamination. The one on the right has been used with an alternative disinfectant. A visible layer of biofilm containing many microorganisms in a state that is highly resistant to chemical disinfection, has developed in the channels of the right connector.

Note: Alternative disinfectants may also be used in the Fibro- Cleaner if agreed with Lancer.
